We build and improve homes in and around the Madison/Dane County area. While we enjoy working on projects at all levels of finish and price, we specialize in the more unique and challenging projects. The key to our ability to deliver successful projects is relationship driven. We form good relationships and collaborate with everyone involved in a project, including our client, designers, and all subs and suppliers on our team. Most of our work consists of referrals from happy clients and the designers and architects we’ve built relationships with over the years. Our character, attention to details, excellent craftsmanship, and creative problem solving are the things our clients appreciate and comment on the most.
We know you need a great team to be a strong home construction company. Each of us, including all our carefully selected subs and suppliers adds dimension and strength to our process and our client’s overall experience and product.
Jim and Cindy joined forces in a collaborative effort in 2011. The combination of their individual strengths lends to a smooth process and quality product. Jim handles all project management aspects of the business, spending most of his time on job sites and meeting with clients and team members. Cindy handles the financial and administrative aspects of the business.
Jim has over 30 years of experience managing construction projects and is also a very creative, talented carpenter. His experience reflects a variety of custom projects with a high level of complexity and finish. The knowledge Jim has gained over the years enables him to manage the most challenging of projects.
Prior to partnering with Jim, Cindy founded Bluestone Custom Homes in 2004 (then Hammer Builders). She then handled all aspects of the business, as general contractor.
