Based in Dane County, WI, Bluestone Custome Homes, LLC builds and improves homes in and around the Madison area. While we enjoy working on projects at all levels of finish and price, we specialize in the more unique and challenging projects. The key to our ability to deliver successful projects is relationship driven.  We form good relationships and collaborate with everyone involved on a project, including our client, designers, and all subs and suppliers on our team.  Most of our work consists of referrals from happy clients and the designers and architects we’ve built relationships with over the years. Our character, creative problem solving, and excellent craftsmanship are the things our clients appreciate and comment on the most.

We know you need a talented team to be a strong home construction company.  Each member, including our subs and suppliers adds dimension and strength to our process and our client’s overall experience and product.

Jim Roloff

Project Manager

Jim has over 30 years of experience managing construction projects and is also a creative, talented carpenter. His experience reflects a wide variety of custom projects at all levels of complexity, finish, and price. Jim handles all project management aspects of the business, spending most of his time on job sites and meeting with clients and team members. While Jim is away from work, he enjoys following his sons’ sports activities, badger sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Cindy Hammer

Cindy founded Bluestone Custom Homes (then Hammer Builders) in 2004. She embraced the team concept early on and set out to build a strong team, partnering with Jim in 2011. The combination of their individual strengths lends to a smooth process and quality product. Cindy handles the financial and behind the scenes aspects of the business. In her spare time, she enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.

Greg Radcliffe

Finish Carpenter

Greg is a very creative, talented carpenter...really he's an artist.  He's been working with wood since he was a little kid, and professionally for forty years. Greg's hobbies are the same as his work. He feels lucky to do what he enjoys most, pretty much all of the time. His own house has been a major project for the past ten years, and now he spends much of his spare time working on his daughter's (interior designer) house in Minneapolis.
